Should we start the grand opening of the shops with a sale? Then I immediately say "no". . . I am arguing with myself. The argument is that it sets a bad precedent. If you start off with a sale, people will be expecting a sale all the time. Hmmmm. . . that is if you have a store wide sale. But we could have an eagle themed sale. 10% off any photo with an eagle. 20%? Bad thing there is it would only affect you. I think I only have one item with an eagle...or maybe two. I say "bad thing" only thinking of the extra work it might make in the way of sales but that is a stupid way of looking at it - we want the work since it means we made a sale. Goofy thought.

Anyway, we should think about that or some form of it. Not sure we should do it, but can argue either side of a limited sale. I don't think a store wide opening sale is advisable.

Okay. Here is what I did on ECWID:

• I changed my number of products from 40 to 24
• I changed the 9 x 13" prices from $70.00 to $49.95
• I changed the price reduction (under Options) for No Frame from $15.00 to $5.00 (Otherwise they could get an unframed 8 x 10 for $5 - now it is $15)
• I changed the Limited Edition price from $150.00 to $99.95
• I added a Category for Used Equipment - but no products yet
• I added a Category for Services with one product - Deposit for Services

Don't worry about the changes on yours. I really can do them in a snap. I can do 10 or 12 products in less than 5 minutes. . . probably much less.

Next I am going to clean up my gallery. I will probably do that tomorrow.

There is another little issue on ECWID that I had not regonized as a problem.

You cannot have unrelated options as part of a set. For example, we have:

OPTIONS

• Framed
• Unframed - $5.00
• 8 x 10" - $20.00

Only one of the members of the set can be selected. You cannot select both Unframed and 8 x 10".

So I had to go in and add another set of Options. Now I have:

Framing Options

• Framed
• Unframed - $5.00

Size Options

• 13 x 19"
• 8 x 10" - $20.00

Now they can select Framed or Unframed and select 13 x 19 or 8 x 10.

I will fix yours in just a little while so that will be ready to go. It will only take me about ten minutes at the most. Then when you copy an old items to make a new one, it will all be in place. Nothing else for you to do.

Also, I have cut my number of products back to 20 so it is not absolutely overwhelming when we open. That way if you have ten or so, it is not a crazy difference as it was when I had 49+. I actually only have 16 photos but 4 of them have more than one type - Photo, PB&J or Limited Edition.

OK. When I went in to fix your ECWID per the above, I went ahead and corrected the prices, too. They now all reflect the new prices that we agreed to the other day when you seemed so surprised that I not only agreed with your question wondering if we should lower the prices, but that I was eager to do so. I had been thinking the same thing.

Now, everything in your ECWID is ready except:

• Any additional descriptions you want to add
• Any additional products that you want to add
